What a pleasant surprise a Jamaican restaurant with an upscale ambience. The food is the best around I go as far as to say the best in South Florida. No to mention the attention to detail and presentation. I have been in search of a Jamaican restaurant of this caliber and I am here to say bar none way ahead of the rest. The bar is set by Dunns River Island Cafe. So if you are in search of a place to enjoy a sumptuous and mouth watering dining experience look no further. Go and check it out for yourself and then spread the word. The only thing that it's lacking is adequate parking but there is parking available across the street in the adjacent plaza. So I would highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and attentive don't just take my word for it go see for yourself

So excited about this restaurant. It makes me proud. The food was delicious. The presentation was like any 5-star restaurant. The service was also very pleasing. We all left feeling satisfied with our choices. The oxtail pasta was unique and unlike anything we've had but it was a great dish. We love how they were able to take traditional Jamaican dishes to the next level. Thanks so much. My curry lobster Tail was very flavorful and tender. Love love loved it all. Will definitely be back.

My sons and I were very well taken care of here. The staff is very attentive and the food was delicious. I also love the food's presentation. I had our meal delivered and then the following day I decided to dine in. I recommend it.

My parents happened to stumble onto this restaurant and can’t express how grateful I am that they did. This restaurant was so good and so nostalgic. From the drinks of Jamrock Punch that were packed with a kick to codfish fritter appetizers to their ackee and salt fish cups. The chicken soup had the right amount of spice kick so you can continue to order more drinks. Ordered coconut grilled shrimp with peppers, omg delicious too! My main course was Dunn’s River Island Fried Chicken, rice & peas and cabbage with plantain. Super nostalgic in flavor . The oxtail was also ordered as I had a piece and will most likely order that to go next time. Lol the atmosphere was right with music playing and the bar is fully set up and stocked. I am so anxious to return and can’t wait !!

Another location that is well worth the visit! My girlfriend urged me to check out this place as they have happy hour from 6-10 with live entertainment. Definitely will be back!! The tasty, flavorful, the right portions are just right. The presentation of the meals beautiful! Some meals have a slight kick so be prepared for a burst. The Chef Shon who is awesome did a curry seafood pasta with mussels, conch and shrimp for me without the heavy cream as I couldn't have the cream!!! In addition, we had ackee cups, lamb, lobster shrimp and salmon combo, doubles, mango salad and they have a 2 for one, all delicious!!!

My go-to is always the jerk chicken with rice and peas, but this time I added some Thai wings on the side — and let me tell you, they were mind-blowing. The sauce wasn’t runny at all; it stuck perfectly to the wings and even to my fingertips. They were that good. And this was a DoorDash order! I usually pick up my food. My food came fresh and still warm. Honestly, 10 out of 10.

YOWWWWW!! Ok, let me calm down, I haven't posted in a while, and "Dunns River Cafe" has given me a reason to, di food tun up, in other words the food is extremely very gooooood, the atmosphere and vibes awesome especially on "FRIDAY" live band that's REALLY lively and energeticand again the FOOD smells great, presentation great, taste great, trust me when I say you will have NOOOOO regrets. So do yourself and your stomach a favor and go pay them a visit. I had the Bar BFry chicken with Mac & Cheese yummy.

I am a very picky when it comes to jamaican cuisine. Being around Jamaicans my whole life, I can definitely say Dunns river has the closest thing to authenticity. The oxtail, snapper, jerk chicken and brown stew chicken are soooo delicious. Aliyah and Saint are always very helpful and welcoming when we come in to pick up our order. I highly recommend you check them out !
